In April 2011, we closed our thrift store/donation center Seconds 2 Go after three years of operation due to financial reasons and the term of the lease. We excited to announce a new partnership with St. Vincent de Paul that will strengthen our ability to provide for the needs of our residential clients. Effective immediately, they will begin accepting donations on our behalf and in return provide clothing and other personal items to our residents at no cost.

In this economic climate, partnerships like ours with St. Vincent de Paul are the key to strengthening and maintaining current services. We are honored to be partnering with them.

Can I deliver to any St. Vincent de Paul thrift store location?
We are specifically wroking with the location above; however, you can donate to any St. Vincent de Paul thrift store location. Please include a printed Chrysalis tag with your donations so we receive credit. Your donation supports the overall partnership. Please give St. Vincent staff or volunteers the attached Chrysalis donor tag. Your donation will be logged and Chrysalis will be given credit for your donation which will help assure our residents will be able to continue to receive necessary items in return.

Will Chrysalis accept any donations directly?
Due to limited storage space, we will be accepting limited quantities of regularly used items such as hygiene products, cleaning supplies and paper products. These items are used directly in the residential programs to off-set program costs. For more information on the greatest need visit our wish list. To arrange for a delivery of these specific items, please call us directly at 602-955-9059.

Will I be able to receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes, St. Vincent de Paul is a 501 (c) 3 organization, like Chrysalis, and will issue a receipt to you upon acceptance of your items.

Can my items be earmarked for Chrysalis residents?
No. St. Vincent de Paul's thrift store serves the greater community and their own clients. Our residents will be a part of that overall population they serve. However, your donation in Chrysalis' name gives credit for a Chrysalis resident to receive items.

What items will St. Vincent dePaul accept?
Gently used clothing, furniture and other household items.

Can I schedule a pick-up of items?
St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores have this service. Again, please mention that you are doing this in Chrysalis' name in order for our residents to receive credit. To schedule a pick-up of household items, call 602-266-HOPE. A suggested donation of $10 is requested to help offset their costs.
